This is an authentic M40 helmet and liner that has been professionally refurbished. Helmet was taken down to bare metal, painted inside and out with correct fieldgrau paint with double decals. Then aged snow camo paint was added over all. Decals show through and owner name is added. Chinstrap has been period field repaired. Shell size is not readable but I think it is 64. It would take an expert to know this one is refurbished.
